Glasgow Argyle Hotel

“During a long road trip with family, we had the pleasure of being able to stay here. The location is very convenient for accessing downtown Glasgow, and the rooms are comfortable and safe. Darcy, who works at front desk, went above and beyond in her duties, helping facilitate a last minute room change for my uncle and dad (when the air-conditioning in their unit just didn't work), and also helped get my brother's and my laundry done on a tight schedule to save us a 24 hour wait. Her bright personality, knowledge of the area, helpful nature, engaging conversation, and politeness were honestly a breath of fresh air. Honestly, this place is a great one for the convenience, the facilities, and the service. If you're considering a stay in Glasgow, I definitely recommend it. (Thanks again Darcy!)”

“We stayed at the Argyle for a concert at the OVO Hydro, which is in quite close proximity and easy to get to. We had a short walk from our bus stop which was in the city centre to the hotel and was greeted by a worker called Scott, who was so lovely and helpful. He checked us in and made polite conversation and asked about our concert, to which he offered directions if needed. The reception is nicely decorated with a nice atmosphere and friendly people. Our hotel room was absolutely perfect, a large, comfy bed, a nice TV, a tea/coffee station and a lovely bathroom with a nice shower. The wardrobe had extra towels/pillows as well as a tan, iron and iron board which is handy. We had unlimited access to the jacuzzi/pool/spar which was a lovely addition. There’s a train station just opposite the hotel and plenty of bus stops near which was useful. The bar is full of lovely staff and had lovely food as well, and was quick coming out the kitchen. On our last day we were able to check out easily and store our luggage at the hotel for free to go out and explore without the weight of our bags. Overall our experience was a 10/10 and would definitely stay there again. Highly recommend this hotel!”
